This Massive Open Online Course aims at raising awareness on Accelerator Science and Technology. It is aimed at 3rd year students (end of the 1st cycle – before the master as defined in the European Three cycle system).
To make it avaiable to a maximum number of people the course will be realsed under a Creative Commons CC-BY-NC-SA license.
In the European Particle Accelerators Education landscape, its target audience is younger than that of JUAS and CAS. It can also help train young professionals joining the field.
It follows a report from a study group that identified the need for such action.
